Hi again! :)
So this week started off as quite the bleen in my bum, but it ended up being good anyway! :) So on Tuesday we went to go stop by some less-active members and they all had their TVs on. It wasn't that big of a deal, but they wouldn't turn them off or even pay attention to us while we were there. It was kind of rude and I was so frustrated. Darn you, Spongebob!! But after that we went to a Relief Society activity where there were a lot of non-members, so that was a good time. :)
The next day was a lot better! Sister Naitoko and I were out to find people when we saw the CUTEST little old blind man walking back from the train station. We decided to help him find his way home since he was tripping all over the place and he was so grateful. :) We invited him to church, so hopefully he'll make it one of these days! We also had dinner with the Broderick family that night and I loooved it! :) They're moving to Utah, so it was sad to see them leave. We'll be neighbors when I get home though, so that part is good news. :) Haha. Anyway, we went to get ice cream with them and as soon as we got out of the car, we heard a chorus of manly voices yelling, "SISTERS!!!" It was the young men getting ice cream after mutual! :) Woo hoo! I felt like a celebrity haha. :)
On Friday we had weekly planning and then went to go see a less-active family since they moved yesterday to Utah. Why the heck is everyone moving to Utah?? Oh, the STRESS! Anyway, we were really sad to see them leave. Hopefully some missionaries and members will be able to help them come back to church over there. :)
Saturday was so FUNNY! :) (side note: I just had to get off the computer and my next reservation took an HOUR to let me get back on! Aish!) That morning we did a ton of service and ended up helping ANOTHER family move to Utah! But here's the cool thing about them: they just got back from serving in UKRAINE! :) It was so fun to speak Russian with them and talk about the good ol' days. Haha. Anyway, after that a family took us to my favorite fast food place: Tommy Burger!!! :D WOO HOOOOOOOO! I loved it so much! Sister Naitoko, however, thought that it was the worst thing that she had ever had in her whole life. She just layed on our couch for seriously 3 hours afterward since she felt to sick. Then when she felt well enough to go out and work, she was barfing her brains out in the bushes haha. It was a mess! But we ended up getting to teach this girl the restoration, so that was awesome! :) I hope that she'll want to meet with us again! Oh and we also got to meet with a less-active lady and it was suuuper cool! She told us that she had the strongest impression that we would come to see her that day! AHH!
Yesterday was quite good as well! :) We were at dinner and sister Naitoko and I both felt so strongly that we needed to go see someone, but we couldn't figure out who it was. After praying about it, we decided to go tracting on this random street in our area. At about the third house, this suuuper nice Australian man answered the door and we got to teach him a bit about the restoration. His kids loved it and we have an appointment to stop by again in a couple of weeks!! :D AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM SO EXCITED!!!!
Anyway, it was a great week! :) I love getting to be a missionary and getting to do the Lord's work. :) Also, did I mention that Elder Russell M. Nelson is coming to my mission this weekend? Because he is! And I am FREAKING OUT over here AHHH! I'm so excited!!! :D Oh and congratulations to Brandy Lion! You're going to be the best missionary that France has ever seen!! :)
I love you all so much and I'll talk to you next week! :)
xoxo
Kimmie
